Paula completed a Bachelor of Science BSc (Hons) Degree in Podiatry at the University of Brighton and is additionally qualified in local anaesthetics (LA) and prescription only medicines (POM). Her degree linked to working and learning within the NHS, completing successful placements at Kings College Hospital - London, Royal Sussex County Hospital - Brighton and Tonbridge Cottage Hospital - Kent, plus other Kent Clinics.
Working with a local charity has enabled Paula to strengthen valuable communication skills and meet a wide variety of the local community.
Paula has also volunteered her professional skills and services for charities such as Crisis at Christmas treating vulnerable and homeless people in central London, the London Marathon Medical Team 2016 and The Brighton Marathon Medical Team 2016. She has even dressed as Santa to raise funds for Myasthenia Gravis, walking and jogging along Eastbourne seafront!
Being passionate about healthcare, Paula is also actively involved in the evolvement of Podiatry, attending conferences, workshops and branch meetings, keeping up-to-date with her continuing professional development (CPD).
Paula is a registered member of the "Health and Care Professions Council" and "The Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists" M.Ch.S.
